A Dream Find

I purchased the Chloé Paddington Tote and while I absolutely love the bag and wear it daily, I was surprised by a few condition issues that weren’t fully disclosed when purchasing in person, possibly overlooked by how excited I was to have finally found a Chloé Paddington Tote in person after searching since 2022. I had been eyeing the bag for 2-3 weeks online after first seeing it at the Good Friends Market and returning to the market to purchase it in person. Based on the description I thought it was in better condition than it was, specifically a mildew smell and more significant hardware wear on the bottom feet than described. That said, Jade Vintage was responsive and offered a partial refund, which I appreciated. The bag itself is gorgeous and I’m obsessed with it, and part of me feels as though the flaws make it so that I don’t have to be afraid of wear on a vintage piece. I’d just recommend being more detailed in condition descriptions for future listings, or going over it in person so buyers know exactly what to expect. Would shop again with that in mind and be more thorough in my inspection! 🖤
