Should have got the small/medium

Suite is too long. But Thigh straps are too short to wrap and close. Have to step into the loop and bring suite up to shoulders. I cut velcro belts to keep thigh loops up to top of thighs. Another to keep shoulder straps from falling. Suite works best when fit is snug to body. When snugged up,, suite works great. Can wear all day comfortably. Am I able to exchange for the "Small/Meduim"?
