Slot is too wide for your own scraper

I was very disappointed with this scraper sharpener. It is designed to accommodate two thicknesses of scraper; but why?! The slot is too wide for the Purl scraper that comes with your own wax kit, which makes it almost impossible to keep the scraper at a consistent 90-degree angle, thus rounding off the edge you are trying to sharpen. I had to put paperboard in the slot to keep the scraper at the same perpendicular angle to create a sharp edge. This is dumb!

Keeping it fresh

Love this scraper! It keeps my wax scrapers sharp so that I don’t need to keep buying more. If you love waxing your own skis and snowboards this scraper sharpener definitely a must for your set of tools.
