The CG-100 Works as advertised
I can very easily get through hundreds of cards. Where I have a problem is with the software. I had no idea a subscription would be needed, and I am not happy about that. I also don't like that there is no PC interface. Getting through thousands of cards on the itty bitty screen will be hard

Great Value, Needs a Few Adjustments
First off, this is the only sub-500 dollar card scanner I've found on the market. That alone makes this a great value and a worthwhile purchase for anyone trying to scan alot of cards into a digital collection. I do, however, have a couple of things that would be great to see worked on for future iterations.
1) 100 cards is too small of a capacity. If you're only scanning one or two thousand cards, this isn't too bad, but it gets really challenging when trying to scan tens of thousands like I am. Would be nice to see a version with a bigger hopper and output bin.
2) The feed mechanism doesn't work consistently. The single roller design is simple but it doesn't consistently grab the next card. I've noticed this can happen if cards are even slightly warped from humidity, or also certain finishes like surge foils having increased friction. The warping issue could be fixed with a weight on the top of the feeder hopper to flatten the cards against the roller for example.
3) The scanning app doesn't use the camera flash bulb for extra light. This means in order to get clear scans in poor lighting, you need to rig your own light.
4) Processing batches of scans is rather slow. Running a batch of 1000-1500 cards and then hitting the "View Summary" button triggers a wait that can be upwards of 5 or more minutes. The wait being significant encourages larger batches, but then that makes the wait periods you still have longer, and increases the number of necessary corrections.
5) Card matching seems a bit wonky at times. I've noticed on numerous occasions it'll match against a card that looks nothing alike but shares the first word of its name with the one scanned. I've also seen card foil treatments being improperly detected alot. Also things like "the list" cards are routinely classified wrong. All that leads to the need to correct a number of the scans.
6) The app requires a $5 a month subscription to do anything useful (ie 1000+ cards). I am not entirely sure why this is needed, or if it's even permissable under the terms of use of the Scryfall image library (which I assume is what is used for stock images). To me it seems all the scan processing is done locally. I suppose perhaps the collection inventory is stored in the cloud somewhere?
Anyway, that seems like alot of issues but most of it is forgivable considering the device is far and away the most affordable scanner and beats hand scanning cards one at a time.

Def recommend
Was able to sort and value over 4k cards in just over an hour. It did a fairly decent job. It did very poorly with lands everything else worked pretty well. Def needs work with identifying basic l lands hopefully that is worked on
