TP Control Panel for MT5

I put in my first trade ever tonight, and I forgot to turn the toggle switches on for a 2 to 1 take profit stop loss, so in a panic, I tried to click the X on trading view and it wouldn’t close the position, so I had to sign into tradovate to be able to close the position. The reason I’m saying this, I immediately hit close on the TP keyboard and all it did was open up a screen and typed a C which is the same screen that I would go to to choose what index I wanted to trade on, so I thought I had it set up correctly and now I’m completely confused and it cost me $491 loss.

I am still trying to figure out exactly how to set it up, On hot keys , configuration , do I need to set up as limit order or Market? 0.00 or 1.? I do option trading
