Pantry Bread Bow

Bought this for my niece and her husband for Christmas. They are bread bakers and we’re thrilled with bread bow. Very sophisticated but down to earth natural as anything from Vermont. Very pleased with the quality as has been everything I have purchased from Farmhouse Pottery.

While the blade on this bread knife is good, I thought that for a hundred dollars the walnut wood would have been a quality piece. Instead I had to buy 0000 steel wool to sand down the wood burs. I question the walnut used as it is very light and not weighty. Has the feel of balsa wood, very light weight. I wanted to like it.
