I chose this shampoo bar because it is for an oily scalp. I usually wash my hair every other day. I used the bar yesterday and am satisfied with my second day hair. It is not too oily, feels soft, and brushes out well. I do use a conditioner bar, then follow up with leave-in conditioner for my long, dry ends. The bar is generously sized and smells awesome.
