Best studio headphones ever! If you, like me, have an in-home studio, you’ll truly appreciate the comfort, look and tone of these headphones. Great sound with no bleed-through. You know why I bought these Sight Unseen??? Because, I did the same last year when purchasing one of their Wingman guitars. I was wary upon receiving the guitar but immediately blown away by the high craftsmanship and attention to detail. They really do think through EVERYTHING. You can feel comfortable purchasing Baum products. Recommended.

Such a great pair of headphones. I’ve had so much fun listening back to music on them, and they sound amazing for recording guitars. I predominantly use closed-backs when tracking my semi-hollow and hollow-body guitars, to reduce bleed into the cans and to better judge how the sound actually goes down on the track. Every pair of closed-back headphones I’ve tried before has sounded either unnatural, pushing the music right into your ears, or somewhat harsh.. But not the Baum Guitars Ellipse. These are different. They just sound right. My Leaper Tone sings through these cans, and so do all my other guitars as well. While they’re not my first choice for mixing, they make an excellent secondary reference. More importantly, they are amazing for getting really inspired while recording and laying down parts with joy and enthusiasm. They’re not as analytical as my preferred mixing headphones, but that’s where the fun comes in and what makes them so hard to beat.

A new benchmark at $499, the best bass I've ever heard from any headphone. Tight, deep, no boom. And the isolation was astonishing, I was listening in bed with my wife right next to me reading, she could not hear it at all and I was playing them loud. That's a cool feature.
