Saves weight and doesn't tear

We use these for an item that is about 15" long. We turn it diagonal and fold these over and it ends up measuring around 12 x 12 x 2. We also have that size box, however this item is really light and without these, we could not ship them via Frist Class Package because they would be over a pound. Haven't had a tear yet and we've sent out about 300 so far.
