It's very nice, but still a work in progress--places that aren't done yet. Also I may have missed the information on how to use the simulation screen, or how to best use the Ardunio programming interface (e.g., how to change the default storage directory, how to save multiple versions of a lesson if I experiment, namely "best practices.") But my biggest disappointment was that I couldn't use it to teach programming to my 9 year-old great grandson. 1) there were too many knowledge domains to conquer (programming, compiling, uploading to HERO; electronic components (but no capacitors or coils) and circuits and breadboarding; embedding code in appliances and IoT's. 2) The programming didn't focus on beginner basics--variables, IF-THEN statements, and conditional branching. 3) it was too much for his age. and 4) It was much to complex for me to follow my plan of getting him set up at his home (35 miles away) and then supporting him in person biweekly and by phone each day. All this is on me. So I'm sending one of the two kits I bought back. I will enjoy completing the one I'm keeping. You're doing a great job, but it didn't fit what I was hoping to do with Willie.

As an instructor of Computer Science and Mechatronics, I am very impressed with the components and structure of the 30 Days in Space kit. I am working my way through the activities before I present them to my students, but I can see a definite value in the progressive projects that the kit facilitates. I intend on using the kits to do a summer camp for students next summer and I think the storyline in conjunction with the activities will be a big draw for students.

I love it, it is working great, I am half way through. I have past experience with build electronics but I am rusty. Having a little more detail about the physical aspect of putting the components in the breadboard, the why behind some of it would help in the beginning. Also consistently identifying the components both verbally and visually. For example the video will say use the 10K resistor" That's it, if you miss that there is no reinforcement. Otherwise it is an exceptional product and I will be giving this as future gifts to my grandkids.
