The reducer is absolutely recommend if you plan to spray or want to reduce the possibility of brush strokes. My high school students are heavy handed with the brush and had issues. The reducer does it job well. The student are brushing on the first 5 coats followed by 5 spray on coats. Simple enough that a high school student can do it with great results. CrystaLac is wonderful to work with!

Allows a smooth non-bubble surface

Shooting in 90 degree weather, this reducer allowed the finish to flow just enough to provide a smooth, bubble free, surface, and still be quick drying. This is definitely a must-have.

Really makes a difference

When spraying this really makes a difference. It lays down so nice and smooth it barely needs level sanding. Don't spray Britetone without it.
