FLEX (Under-Seat)

Great concept

The idea of creating an air compressed bag designed to fit under an airplane seat is an excellent one. The mistake I made was that the air compression was going to be magical. It does conserve some space, but not an appreciable amount. The bag is perfect for a long weekend (or maybe a week in a tropical climate where you’ll be wearing thin clothing). It predictably doesn’t hold as many cold-weather clothes as you might want for a long trip. But what separates Airback is their customer service. The first bag they sent me, the interior zipper was broken - did not zip, right out the gate. I got the bag as a “reward” on Kickstarter, not a straight purchase, so I wasn’t sure what duty Airback had to attend to the issue. Whatever their responsibility might have been, they jumped to action when I let them know the issue and acted immediately after I supplied them with photographic evidence of the damage. I very much respect their commitment, to the quality of their product and to their customers. And for that, I’m very happy to be a patron.
