The mesh bag held the magnet well. But the magnet did not hold the phone, and in fact and driving through the course, the magnet and the phone fell off the golf cart, which was very distressing to say the least. Fortunately, it was brought to the Pro Shop where I was able to recover it. I would not buy this again.
