If I summed these up in one word: rigid. The box around the stem means there's very little wobble to the stem, and it doesn't rub against the top, that I can feel. It's quieter than the other clicky switches I have, but that's in no way a bad thing of course (might even be an improvement). Honestly a great switch, especially at that price point. Give them a try~
