Maiocco Design Trombone Hand Grip

I recently purchased a new large-bore tenor trombone made by Eastman from a Shires design, but it was awkward and uncomfortable to hold for any length of time. When I saw the ad for the Maiocco grip, I figured for the price if it didn't work, I wouldn't be out that much. It did work though, and worked very well; I'll never play my hhorn without it! I'm 73 years old, and the arthritis is bad some days, but with this grip accessory, I can still enjoy playing my horn as much as I ever did. The horn sits balanced perfectly and comfortably in my left hand as it should - Bravo!

My son loves the grip. He is recovering from a recently broken left arm, so his strength in that arm isn’t very great at the moment, but this helped so much! He said it is a game changer!

Excellent hand grip. Fits my Yamaha YBL 830 Xeno perfectly. One or two adjustments needed to fit my hand. I have used it for a couple of months now, and almost don't notice it now. Except for quick mute changes, still working on those :)
