Worthy Hat
Although I had to return this item, I am giving it a five star rating because it truly is a worthy hat. My reason for returning is only one of personal taste, that I prefer a lower crown. This crown rises as high as 5 inches on the sides, too high for me. That said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hat. It appears to be well-made, sturdy, and attractive. Some will say it is stiff – but it should soften somewhat in time. Consider that for a wool hat, stiff can be much better than soft. Soft wool often means you have to fiddle and fool with it every time you put it on, to get the shape right, especially the brim. Not so with this hat. Train the brim to your liking and I believe it will stay right there for you. All in all I was highly impressed.
