The Mighty Flamingo?

Obviously it’s a mid power rocket, especially with the add on booster. I have withheld the decals for now to save weight. With F engines, she may exceed 1800 feet. Launching is postponed for now due to fire risk. Need more 2 inch airframes, possibly with a reducer for the upper tube and with Estes quality.

Always a great time when an Estes package arrives! Very robust packaging, the model is well designed and executed. It is a beginner’s kit but I have advanced building skills and this is still a very welcome build and addition with fun and enjoyable outcome ahead. I recommend this build for all skill levels.

Truly Outstanding Kit

The Pink Flamingo is a quick build with no painting required. With a booster, it turns in a fantastic flight with two F engines. The plastic molded fins were individually wrapped so they arrived without scratches. The plastic shock cord mount is easy to install. Molding on the fins and nose cone was excellent. I've flown mine with both a F15-0/F15-6 combo and as a single stage rocket with an E16. This kit also offers the option of either launch lugs for a 1/4" rod or rail buttons. This is a great kit.
