Valley Yarns Northampton Yarn - Wool Worsted

I love working with this yarn. Im doubling thr strings when crocheting and the drape, weight is perfect.

At the moment, I’m wearing a sweater knit from Valley Yarn’s Northampton and I have two more Northampton sweaters on my needles. This sweater is the first thing I put on in the morning. It’s so warm and cozy. There’s quit a bit of pilling at first but after the first few days of wearing a new Northampton garment, a good de-pilling sets it right. If you plan to gift a Northampton garment, be sure to include instructions on de-pilling so the recipient knows how to keep the garment presentable. Because of the way it pills at first, I haven’t used Northampton for a garment with a lace work pattern. This is one of the best sturdy yet wearable and comfortable yarns I’ve used.
