I’m a woodworker by profession and debated changing my metal rollup doors for wood or painting them to look like wood. I tried this product and was very pleased with the finish. It gives the general warmth of wood without the maintenance of real wood. It went on easily and is good value. I’m pleased to recommend this product.

Worthwhile experiment

The doors turned out great! It definitely takes more than three hours. Our three stalls took about 7 hours in total. The kit comes with nearly everything you need except a paint pan and paint can opener. The hand mit was clunky to use so we brushed a good portion of the wood look paint on. We started with the forest green door, painted the beige base coat and finished with two coats of the finishing, wood-look paint. I ordered an extra can of the base and wood look and will be returning those as we had enough with what the kit offered.
