ZERO STARS - Wrench was bad, getting credit was a nightmare

The tool was frozen in the forward direction and I saw no dated calibration certificate. I set it to the lowest setting but it kept driving. The response was from their NV warehouse. It was terse and unhelpful. They stated to return item. No RMA, nothing. The cost for me for ground was $30. They did not request this until after they had the item and I had already requested over several days for a status of the credit: A copy of the receipt (they had all my info from the shipping already keep in mind.) I sent their own receipt from the web but they refused it due to the detail being hidden. I then emailed my Paypal receipt, they said they did not receive it. They must have spammed my email. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! They had my item, untouched, and my money still, a month later. I contested the charge with my credit card and was credited within days. I bought this tool as the best one that I could find and afford. This is a pricey consumer model and reviews around the web seem to be quite good. I also like purchasing from individual companies because I know that big box and Amazon strip all their profit. I am NOT cheap but actually look for premium items, and direct from companies that have a web presence indicating quality, like this one. I have now bought the $50 Tekton torque wrench from Amazon. I will never buy an Alltrade or Powerbuilt tool again. I am also second guessing not buying from Amazon as I know companies that sell through there will have to abide by their return policies and not treat customers like this.

T-Handle Torque Wrench

I use the torque wrench on a regular basis and like the feel and performance. The Powerbuilt label on the T-Handle shifted; however, I was able to re-secure in its proper position.
