This book is just what I’ve been looking for- the adolescents I teach don’t want to practice at home on their assigned written music, but these pieces are so cool they can’t help themselves: getting to listen to the piece as often as they want (aural learners); getting to play with an online band (group experience); adjusting the tempo as needed to slower or faster (for accuracy); watching the video(visual learners)- showing off their skill to their peers (proud pianists) are just a small part of what makes this book and others in the series (Pop- Jazz- etc) work so well for this generation of music makers-From the front page to the last, this book draws attention to itself and demands to be played- Confession: as a 75 year old teacher, every piece in this music book is addictive - even to me 😉🎶🎹🎵
