Clamp Quality
Spike's products - from clamps to fermenters are superior in quality to other, non-labled/generic product. Not even close.

Clamps
This item is great. It is always easy to clean and tighten up. I once got one that had a high spot on the thumb screw which made it hard to tighten and Spike made it right and replaced it.

Quality
Other outlets, like on Amazon, can have some pretty flimsy clamps, but the Spike ones are always tight and reliable.
