Beautiful looking in my tank and only took 24 hrs under a clay pot to stay sunken down to the bottom of my tank

Great looking piece of wood. However it did need a little help is sinking to the bottom and staying there but only for two days. It also acquired a lot of slime. It brushed off easily and so far it hasn't come back. To help keep it away, I shortened the tank's light hours from 7 to 6. The tank is a 20 gal long btw.

I rec'd the piece. It is a very plain piece of wood. I was hoping for something with a bit more character or perhaps a piece with a branch but I will get creative with some stones.
