Canine Protective Elbow Sleeve

I am extremely disappointed in this purchase. I have tried everything there is available, to help keep the surgical wound covered from my 126lb German Shepherds mass removal surgery on his elbow. The people here at Dogleggs told me this couldn't be returned because it was "custom made" however, when I placed my order, originally I measured his elbows different sizes, and that would have been custom made. They asked me to re-measure, so I did; and the elbows were the same size. The lady from dogleggs said because both elbows were the same size, its standard and they could ship the product immediately. So they are 100% NOT made to order custom made! Thats just how they keep you from returning them when they don't fit! The elbow padding area on the dogleggs is a good 2" to big on both sides. When my dog lays down, both elbows pop right out of the elbow sleeve things. I ended up buying a pair of $16 elbow padding legging looking things from Amazon; which has been by far the best product to keep his elbows covered with bandages and without. This $250 "custom made" 🫩 order is just another useless product collecting dust in my dogs medical cabinet. He wore it twice when I realized, its just to big and I couldn't adjust it to fit in the elbows. I even specifically told them there was only about 1/2" of padding with the bandages on, but they didn't listen and now it's so ridiculously big. When I reached out, they told me to take all these pictures from all these different areas while my boy was standing up. Hes a 3 year old! Its so hard to get him to stand still! I was so disgusted they told me to take all of these different pictures, I just didn't bother. I know I need to just do it, but its very hard and time consuming. I cannot in good conscious recommend this product for a surgical wound recovery suit. Not for dogs elbows anyway. I am extremely disappointed.

These elbow pads/harness are great! He runs and plays and they do not bother him a bit. I do hope they are washable because he loves rolling in the grass. lol

Because Czar is so big, 175+ pounds he needed a custom thingy. I entered the measurements from the vet and finished my order. Within 10 minutes DogLeggs called me and said the measurements didn't look right for Czar's size. She asked me to re-measure and waited on the phone as I did, making sure I measured the right places. It came pretty quickly, maybe a week. Good quality too. Thanks, DogLeggs.
