DAZZLING DIY SILVER RING KIT

I live in the NT which is a humid climate and found the clay really hard to work with, the first 12 minutes it was the texture of slime so when wrapping the band around the wood the clay would stretch, worp and then break. I followed the video blog that is posted to the website and the clay did not act the way the tutorials look. I had about 8 minutes of the clay being less soft but my ring ended up break twice, I didn't add water until trying to bind the two ends together. by my second attempt at putting the ring back together the clay started to crumble and there was no hope of saving it. I've brought clay to make three rings from june-july this year and non of the rings are wearble. as someone who is autistic and dyslexic, the videos are too short and fast, you need more details on all the things that can happen with the clay. i think this is a nice idea but it's not for a beginner unless you're in one of your workshops.
