Surfy Foil Drive Weapon

I picked up a 35 L Capacitor to begin my Foil Drive journey with, and I couldn’t be happier! At 180 pounds with my wetsuit on, and paired with the fusion system, I’ve begun swell riding, down winding, and playing around on the flatwater with pumping. The board’s design makes it efficient for pop-ups even at my weight and beginner FD ability. Once up and riding, it rolls rail to rail beautifully and deflects nicely on touchdowns. I’m looking forward to further progressing my FD riding on this little beauty!

Capacitor 45L

I started my FD journey with the 55L Omen Emissary which was perfect for my 100kg weight. Easy take off, and super fun in the waves. A great board for FD and my progression. I now have the 45L Capacitor which I have been riding for around 3 months. This board is even better. I have no problems on the take off considering there is 10L less volume with the trench. My biggest take away is that if I ride too low and touch down on a wave, I can recover and pump the board back up. It doesn't feel like the brakes have been put on due to the battery box grabbing the water. Others in the line-up have noticed this too. There's also a more direct feeling under your back foot helping to drive into turns with confidence. On the practicalities of battery changing with the trench. No problem. I use the FD split bolts and an electric screwdriver. Super quick. If you are serious about FD, this is your board!!
