Betty (Eyeshadow Palette)

Most unique palette I own

I am a makeup enthusiast and collector. The texture of these eyeshadows is fantastic! The colors work so well together and give a brightness to my skin without being heavy looking and editorial or runway. I prefer sleek, sophisticated yet bright vibrant colors that compliment my skin tone. I have green eyes and light skin, this works beautifully to accentuate my eyes. Absolutely beautiful.

I absolutely loved this palette. I wasn't able to try it on it's orginal release so I was excited to hear it was becoming permanent. It has gorgeous colors and they are incredibly easy to use! Easily becoming one of my favorites.

Actually quite versatile

I know people are hesitant about this palette because there are on mattes or they're intimidated by purple, but I've found this to be quite easy and wearable. I admittedly do use another matte eyeshadow as contour/crease, but I'd imagine most people have a shade like that in their collection already. If not, the design of this palette system makes it a cinch to swap a matte transition shade in easily (love french grey from Vega). Or use any of the liquid silks (love them as primer too). The purples are very wearable because they give such a light and ethereal feel, not too stark or bright. I find this palette so versatile as the 2 browns are such great one-and-dones. That golden orangey shade, arguably the most neglected shade in almost every review I've seen on social media, is actually a great one-and-done for me given I have a light, neutral-warm complexion. The duochrome is perfect for me now that my preferences veer more towards the subtle (as opposed to more high impact looks from brands like Pat McGrath or indies like Clionagh) Overall I love this palette as far as performance and versatility goes, but what makes it special is that it hits that emotional sweet spot due to its inspiration. As a fellow cat lover, this just makes me smile everytime I use it. The names are just too adorable and probably all too relatable for every cat lover out there.
