Beautiful replica Great Auk Skull for my brother's birthday. He keeps it on his desk while he's writing up his PhD on Extinction. After buying my Dad a replica Smilodon Sabretooth cat skull for his 70th birthday a few years ago, I thought I'd get another skull for my brother. It took 10 and a half weeks to arrive so was a very late birthday present in the end, and it took repeated email contact to find out when it would be delivered. At the time, I remember it felt a bit disconcerting because a large amount of money had left my bank account and I had nothing to show for it and no-one was contacting me to give me updates unless I wrote to them first. I was also never offered a discount despite the large delay in delivery time, although I can really appreciate that it takes time to create something so unique and accurate. A bit more communication would have been really useful. My brother really liked it, which is the main thing, but I think I'd be wary of buying anything else in the future.
