Replaced my old, broken trimmer (different brand) & this trimmer is exceptionally better. Blending with this trimmer is a breeze. Love it.

Not as impressed as I thought I’d be

I bought these on recommendation from a clipping advice forum. So far I’ve only used them for ‘in between clips’ face trims. Just to tidy the longer wispy hairs. And for feather trimming. With the faces the trimmers are nice and quiet and light. But I think they maybe snagged or pulled the hairs a bit, as all 3 horses had uncomfortable moments. If I hadn’t literally just unboxed them , I would have thought the blades were blunt by the horses reactions & the snags I felt. (I made sure to oil well & regularly, so I don’t think that was the issue) With the feathers, I had done them with clippers 3 weeks prior, so it was just a tidy up with these trimmers, again, it felt like the blades were blunt. I did charge the battery fully before using, but I actually gave up on the feathers and left the trimmers to charge again, in case that was the problem. But sadly when I tried again, it made equally hard work of the trim.
