Boat Seat Pin Mount with Shock-Absorbing Spring - Silver

I didn’t want to replace my entire seat and pedestal just to get a little more comfort, so this mount made sense. It fit between my existing seat and pin post, and the difference is noticeable when crossing wakes. There’s still normal boat movement, obviously, but the sharp jolts don’t feel quite as harsh. For a relatively small upgrade, it made the seat much nicer to use.

I added this to my jon boat mostly for comfort. Those flat-bottom boats can beat you up a little when the water gets rough, and even a small amount of shock absorption helps. The mount feels heavier duty than I expected for the price. My existing 3/4" pin setup worked with it, and once installed the seat felt secure. I also like being able to rotate toward the side without twisting around in the chair.

My old pin mount had enough play in it that the seat would rock every time I leaned to one side. This one tightened everything up nicely. The spring adds a little cushion and the swivel turns smoothly without making the seat feel loose. Good, simple replacement.
