Upon receiving my Kong mount, I found it to be defective. THMarine customer service immediately sent out a replacement. This is awesome customer service.

Solid but adjustments are limited

This mount is very solid but the ability to adjust positions are somewhat limited. They use three pins that go into assigned holes to adjust. For my use, they need many more holes to better align where needed. The holes could even slightly overlap and still give ample support but each adjustment moves position with limited options. I had to grind down the pins on my system and drill a hole with a set screw to tighten once aligned to give me my best position. I made it work but at the price range of this system, it should give much better adjustment options.

Kvd kong mount

Had a ram mount holding a helix 12 and would end up in my lap, this looked sturdy and it definitely is! Pretty customizable to make it work on my dash. Happy with purchase so far
