Better than expected

The material is just perfect. Dries quickly and has plenty of stretch for movement and comfort. The pocket zips are a nice touch, especially for outdoor activities.

Just what I was waiting for

Finally, cargo shorts! I have to carry stuff and while I love the Origin canvas shorts, for some reason, I can't stand having stuff in my back pockets anymore. Maybe I've been wearing cargo shorts for way too long, I don't know. Either way, these are more comfortable than any cargo short I own, and I own plenty. The pockets aren't bulky but are more than large enough for my phone, wallet, and other items. I generally wear size 32 in shorts and pants, maybe sometimes a size or two below if the cut is wider than usual, but these are spot-on size 32. Also, if you're worried about the length going below or touching your knee, you're most likely fine, as these sit just above my kneecap, and I'm 5'6. I can't stand shorts that sit below the knee or kiss my kneecap when I walk, so it was a big relief when, even though these are an inch longer than the Origin canvas shorts and a few of the other brands I own, I found they sat exactly where I was hoping. I'm hoping for more colors soon. I'll gladly retire some of my older cargo shorts and replace them with Origin cargo shorts, and the more colors, the better!
