It does what I want it to do—provide a stable platform for my very large and heavy 500mm f/4.5 lens. I wanted one with copper accents, but that wasn’t available. Perhaps, 3 Legged Thing can offer replacement parts so we may customize our gear? Like all of their gear, it is very well made, the fit and finish are spot-on, and it's a joy to use.

It took a bit to figure out how exactly to get it to fit but once it was lined up properly it's solid as a rock, looking forward to long exposure work finally!
