My old girl (17) has advanced hip dysplacia. With the harness she can walk for longer periods of time without falling. It has improved her spirit to be able to fet out with her brother and sister. She can no longer run, but does a cute trot. She is on medication for her hips from her Dr. who assures me she is not in pain when being active while wearing the harness.

My dog has accepted the knee brace harness set quite well and it’s fairly simple to put it on him. I regret that it’s not something he can wear all day long because while I’m at work he’s largely sedentary. This means he only wears it for a half hour a day when we take a walk after work.
I purchased the hip harness as well because he has hip dysplasia, but he never wears it because it’s too tricky to wear at the same time as the knee harness. Unless you tell me otherwise, I don’t think he’s meant to wear the hip harness even while he’s lying down throughout the day.

We are still working on getting it to fit comfortably on her? The leg brace part gets off balance and slides around on her back a lot and then she is able to get her leg out. I haven’t been able to get the Velcro straps to work right. We like this whole concept and just hoping I didn’t order it to big?
We haven’t tried it a lot since it’s so hot here in Florida right now and her allergies flair up in this summer weather so we are still hopeful that this brace will help her walk better
