Why are they called liner socks?

They are thin and the fit nice a snug. But not paper thin. Not like the wool liners we used to wear. I don’t know why they call them liners, they are thin light weight socks that are great for hot weather hiking. They move moisture well and do not stink too bad after a couple of days in the backcountry.

Not Really A Liner

Great quality very comfortable. However, I expected a such thinner liner. These are more of a light to mid weight sock. Perfect if your feet sweat a lot and you don't need a mid to heavy sock.

Greats socks

They are thicker than most liner socks, however, would still work as a liner or light weight sock. extra padding on the bottom of the sock for extra comfort.
