Tick Emergency Kit

I think this spray seems to work well. However when it came the bottle had leaked in the package. I did email back as I had lost some of the liquid due to it and have a bottle which leaks; but no one responded

I haven't used the spray yet, due to conflicting directions for its use. Do I spray it on my skin, or on my clothes?

The tick emergency kit is really neat and coming in a very handy, zip pouch I can see it being very useful.
