Must buy
This thing not only is aesthetically appealing but ease of install is so worth it. Don’t waste your money buying anything else. Adding rigidity over the factory plastic and a smoother much shorter transition between gears. Seems a shame to cover it up

Great shifter, easy installation overall
Very good quality shifter, and the installation was straightforward overall. Honestly, the most difficult part of the install was reinstalling the interior bits which go around the shifter assembly. The shifting is definitely more precise, but be aware that there is still some up and down slop/movement in the shifter due to the shift cables. My cables are nearly new, so the amount of movement you may experience could be more. If you're trying to remove even more movement from the shift assembly, you may want to consider the solid shifter transmission bushings which are sold by DICorse. Lastly, be sure the transmission fluid in your car has been recently serviced. I drained the factory fluid from my transmission at less than 50,000 miles and it was pretty dark. I switched to the factory viscosity fluid sold by Motul (75w FE) which helped enormously in improved shift quality, even testing it on track days where it functioned very well. Am I satisfied with a shifter? Yes. It is a lot of money from an upgrade perspective, but the factory shifter is somewhat of a weak point for these cars. Overall a worthwhile upgrade if you can afford it..

Absolutely incredible!
Easy to install and feels great! I can't say enough how simple this is to install. If you can change the oil and filter on a Fiat 500, you can add this shifter to it. It's that easy and simple to install! It has transformed the shifting of the car completely, shortening the space between all the gears and enhancing tactile feedback by eliminating the pliable plastic in the factory shifter.
