Well-executed Seiko mod with impressive accuracy
I recently received my Seiko mod watch and overall I am very impressed.
The website is nice-looking, easy to use, and functions very well, with a lot of customization possibilities, which was exactly what I was looking for and ultimately why I chose to order from them. Before purchasing, I read many reviews of different Seiko mod sites in Europe, and this one felt more trustworthy and professional than most, even though i had to pay VAT upon receiving it.
Communication was another strong point. David and his team were quick to respond to every question I had, with clear and helpful answers throughout the process. That gave me confidence as a customer.
I also really liked the packaging, which felt well thought out. And of course, the watch itself looks fantastic. I am genuinely impressed with the overall quality feel.
I tested the watch on a timegrapher, and the results were excellent (around +2 to +3 seconds per day, ~260–280° amplitude, and ~0.2 ms beat error), which is very good for an NH35 movement. The watch also weighs 160 grams, which feels perfectly balanced on the wrist.
There is honestly nothing bad I experienced. I only see a small opportunity to further enhance the customer experience. I originally discovered the watch I wanted on their Instagram, where it was shown with a gold rotor installed.
I assumed the watch I ordered would include this, as there was no option in the configurator to add it, nor any notice that the upgraded golden rotor was only installed upon request.
After shipping, David explained this to me, and I mentioned that I simply wasn’t aware of it beforehand. I would have happily paid extra to include the gold rotor if that had been clear during configuration.
I ordered the watch on the 26th of December 2025, it was shipped on the 6th of January, and got it on the 20th of January 2026, this primarily due to the Swedish customs.
Overall, this was a very positive experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend them or order again in the future.
