The "X" model TRMNL device is a black and white, 16 grayscale (4-bit depth) fully customizable ePaper display. It is ideal for larger spaces such as a kitchen or living room, given the display size is conducive to easy viewing from further distances.
Unlike the OG model - which is best for office desks and bedroom night stands - the X mod

It's fantastic!
I have the original TRML and now the TRMNL X. The larger screen and higher resolution are fantastic, but I think my favorite feature is the touchbar. Now I have control through the screen itself. The battery life is impressive given that it's larger; I've had it going for five months thus far and it has not needed a charge.

solid kit
It’s exactly what I would’ve built, except someone else did it for me. It’s open source too, so I built a quick server for it to show exactly what I want and didn’t have to flash or jailbreak anything. Plus it sticks to the fridge. Well done
