I bought this for myself for a carry-on-only domestic trip, using it as my personal item, and it exceeded my expectations. I was shocked by how much it held: laptop, iPad, Kindle, water bottle, travel mug, headphones, charging cords, a pen—with room to spare (I even tucked my purse in before boarding). Every item had its own dedicated pocket, so packing was quick and everything stayed easy to find. Despite being fully loaded, it never felt heavy and slid under the seat perfectly. Note: I mostly rolled it on top of my suitcase rather than carrying it on my shoulder, so I can't speak to extended shoulder wear. The zipper closure meant nothing shifted or fell out on the go. My iPhone 17 Pro Max fit perfectly in the phone sleeve, and the bag attached to my suitcase handle effortlessly. The material feels durable and easy to wipe clean. I also own the Bento Bag and now see clearly when each one fits: the Bento Bag is my pick when I need to pack extra (like a change of clothes), while the Origami Tote is perfect for trips where I just need my essentials as a personal item. This bag is now a travel staple for me—and I can see it doubling as my office bag too. Highly recommend if you want something compact, organized, and genuinely functional.

Work & Travel

I needed a bag that easily fit my laptop and other travel essentials in case my larger carry-on had to be gate checked. I love all the pockets; it helps me stay organized and find things easily. My travel water cup has a handle, though, so it doesn't fit in that designated pocket, but still fits nicely in the bag.

The Perfect Work Tote

I am obsessed with the Origami Tote! I got it in Sahara Sand and use it primarily for work. The color is the perfect neutral. The bag is roomy enough to keep all my daily essentials organized. This bag also has a really elevated look that I love. Easy to keep clean and looks great.
