FIREFLY Torch Lite - Shallow Water Anchor Light

Not a good product!

I ordered the light with high expectations. Upon arrival there was absolutely nothing in the box as far as instructions go. I even tried to find a video or something online, but there was nothing. Just by looking at it though, I figured how hard could it be. I have installed trolling motors, transducers, graphs, hot foots, etc. so I knew this would be easy. Well I started by drilling a hole in my Powerpole for the wire to run through. I took the top bolt out and attempted to "clamp" it on. There was no way it was going to fit. I tried and tried and tried and ended up breaking off the ear of the light. I contacted Firefly and they assured me it was supposed to fit that way. They sent me another light and this time I was going to take it to my boat guy and have him install it. He determined the rubber grommet where the wire goes was maybe the problem. We took it off and it went on the power pole. Well, here is the next issue. When you remove the bolt and nut to put the light on, there is no way to tighten it back up. Not even a thin walled socket would fit in the hole of the light. We took the top of the light off so we could tighten it up. Upon attempting to "clamp" it back on, the ear broke off again. Would not recommend!!!!!
