Old legs = Smaller Engines=lower flights
First let me say that ESTES Model rocket engines are the WORLD STANDARD! there was a time when I would love to blast my rockets too out of sight altitudes. Let me say the legs worked a lot better then, now
it is better to launch one of the old mini models on a less powerful engine as I do not have to walk as far. Perfect for a Screamer or a Star Dart.

Great little engines
These little 1/2A3 engines worked great with the starter rockets used by my grandson.

Perfect rocket motor for our kids birthday party. Enough elevation to amuse, not so much that we were chasing rockets 1/2 mi down field.
