Modern Live-Drums is not intended to replace those systems, but as a fast path to professional results, it works surprisingly well. Workflow gamechanger

I have billboard drums and now Modern Live drums and use one or the other or both in pretty much everything. Because although the kits are matched the sounds are so good they can mix and match very easily too. Using these products sets a solid foundation, and has had a knock on effect across the rest of my workflow.

The big sound

The sound of their drum libraries is truly brilliant, for their clarity, detail, and programmability. It's impressive: after programming, everything sounds perfectly balanced, ready for the first listen. The sounds are very malleable in post-production, and I felt great right from the start of the recording session. Everything was in its place. The after-sales service was also very nice and appreciated.
