The thickness and quality of the steel was a pleasant surprise. The long straight edge is really nice for smoothing flat surfaces and the rounded side is very versatile inside vessels while throwing or hand building. The small squared of part is great for making lid galleries or shaping bottoms. All around great design that will be a staple in my tool kit

It was a perfect shape to create an undercut and foot on bowl. Love the weight of the metal
