TOKIO Manual Coffee Grinder, 40 Grind Settings

A bit disappointed but I'll make it work.

It was not exactly what I was looking for. I was a bit disappointed because the last one I bought from Grosche lasted so long. This one, is good quality but the base is not large enough to hold the grind for one large double cup French press. Also, the grind size is just slightly too small for how I like my French press grind. Even at the arrest setting. It's ok. I will make it work for now.

Much smaller than expected, and fairly awkward to use with the spinning handle always having to be removed and secured. Bottom glass screw-on receptacle is tiny, and top grinding chamber cover is not intuitive to fasten, and made of plastic... Not at all the impression I got while shopping website. Knowing this I probably would not have purchased,...sorry.

I really like my new Grosche TOKIO grinder. It's much easier to use and adjust the grind compared to my older Grosche hand grinder. The adjustment settings are easy to set, and the grind seems to be very even and accurate. I use a ceramic pour-over and a Mokapot, so it's nice to be able to easily adjust the settings for each method. I roast my own coffee at home, and the coffee seems to be even more consistent from cup to cup. It's easy to clean, and it's small enough to travel with, and it's simple to store in a cabinet. Also, the grind handle fits well, and sinceI don't have to screw it on and off each time, it's a big time saver as well. Out of five stars, I give it a Six!
