Design in principle is fine. However, the assembly is poor and dangerous. Assembly screws, which there are many to say the least, are protruding through the base and are very sharp. Not a well put together item. Although you will not see these when tue light is fitted on the ceiling, it does fill me with confidence that it is a safe item to use.
