It is a very "fresh" kind of smell. It smells good, but as for most cologne, it smells better when it has been on my skin longer rather than out of the bottle. For $30? Well worth it. My girlfriend who has a family that loves fragrances, when asked to guess the price, said something around $80 even though it is only 50mL. Well worth it. Definitely a summer kind of sent, but still good all around. 3 quick sprays was very strong, but mellows out nicely. (However i am not really a cologne guy, so take my words with a grain of salt.) They also sent a decent amount of tester sized bottles of their other sents, so i would only buy one before committing to blind-buying multiple.
