Very happy with this helmet, I've owned one of the same model previously and other Giro helmets. Good safety ratings, very comfortable fit and ventilation.

Creaky Helmet

This is by far the most expensive helmet that I've ever owned. At first, I really enjoyed it. Ventilation and comfort are top notch. However, after the first 200 miles the helmet started creaking. I thoroughly washed the helmet to make sure it wasn't dirty from all the gravel riding I do. The creaking noise still persisted. I sent a video to Bikes Online to demonstrate the issue. They sent me a replacement right away and I mailed the old one back. I decided to sell the replacement as I didn't want to encounter this issue again. I believe the helmet has too many moving parts with the Spherical and Mips causing rub points which create the noise I was experiencing. I would not recommend this product. 5 stars for Bikes Online for atleast helping me out.

Fantastic helmet, great price

I already had a different Giro MIPS helmet, but when I saw this Helios Spherical on sale, I jumped at it. Super comfortable and has all the protection features I want and need. I think Giro makes the best fitting helmets in the industry (at least for my head).
