8" Tread 2® - Snowmobile GPS

Works ok . It's disappointing that you can ride and turn around and follow the breadcrumb trail back. Because there isn't one. It will be completely useless in the back country. Without that. I've tried looking for info online and nothing on breadcrumb trail. Disappointing. As far as the kit , install, looks on sled. Perfect. Completely satisfied . I do wish there was a cover for it when on sled not in use.

Love this unit. And the guys at D3 were exceptionally easy to work with. Call them for great service. They shipped out the unit to me the next day. The Harin Tread is easy to use once you learn all the options you have. I also purchased the handlebar controller which I highly recommend for snowmobile use. I use the unit with snowmobile maps from VVMapping. Super easy - just put the memory chip from my old Garmin Montana into the tread and boom, trails are there. Yes the Tread does have built in snowmobile trails, but they are hard to see while moving but VV has a bold yellow line to follow. My buds are jealous.
