AtomStack P1 Laser Engraver

Great experience overall\. My Atomstack P1 order was handled very well, communication was good, and everything arrived safely and as expected\. Very happy with the purchase and the service\.

I was wondering what to write. The device is really cool—compact and cleverly built. Unfortunately, the software side is terrible. There are no guides or tutorials. This is my first machine of this type, and I don't know where to start. It’s just sitting in the closet, still wrapped in plastic. Here is what needs improvement: - At the start, there should be an option to select the material being worked on; the software should automatically display a message indicating which laser type should be used for that material. - For flat surfaces, it should be possible to set a specific working area—for example, 4x4 cm. The software should restrict the grid to that specific area. Then, it should be possible to set the "zero" point either manually or via the software. The software should indicate, for instance, that this is the bottom-left corner of the working area. - When connecting the rotary attachment, the procedure should be very similar. We should be able to input the top circumference (of the mug), the bottom circumference, and the height of the working area. - Then, the laser should automatically position itself at the top circumference so that the rotary attachment can be adjusted manually. These three features would make getting started with this machine much easier. For now, it’s just sitting in the cupboard, still in its packaging—which is a shame, given that it’s not a cheap piece of equipment.

Great tool allowing me to do what I want. Easy to use once you choose you material which sets the required data to drive the machine. Still trying things and different materials buy fun to use. One small problem the little bar that focuses the laser for the thickness of the material has stiffened up. Great little laser engraver.
